Tell Congress to Shutdown the Shutdown!

Greetings,

I’m in DC right now with more than one hundred women legislators from around the country. We have 117 meetings set up with members of Congress tomorrow to discuss our state priorities.While these meetings were planned well in advance, there is a very real chance that the halls of Congress will be closed tomorrow morning.

That's right - we've come all the way down here to advocate for our states and the federal government may close its doors on us - and every other American. 

It’s unconscionable.

This morning, we stood together and called on Congress to end this political tantrum and Shutdown the Shutdown. CO State Rep. Angela Williams talked about the devastating floods her state is facing right now, and what a federal shutdown would do to the relief effort.
