Feinstein 'would love' a Clinton run in 2016

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton has brushed off the idea of a 2016 presidential run, but Sen. Dianne Feinstein isn’t listening.
The Democratic senator from California was not in shy in expressing her support Sunday for the outgoing secretary of state and a potential second White House bid by Clinton.

"I think she's accomplished an incredible record and really has really unbridled popularity," Feinstein said on CNN's "State of the Union." "She has a total knowledge of all of the issues. She has served in the Senate. She has been first lady –"
"You're a fan," said Candy Crowley, CNN's chief political correspondent.
"I am a fan," the senator firmly responded.
"You want her to run?" Crowley asked.
"I would love it if she would run," said Feinstein, who endorsed Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2007.
While recent polls show Clinton has high favorability ratings among Americans and strong backing should she pursue a White House bid in 2016, Clinton has repeatedly said she doesn't plan to throw her hat back in the ring.
Clinton will appear in a taped interview Sunday night with President Barack Obama on CBS. The interview has stirred speculation over whether Obama may be encouraging Clinton to run in four years, rather than another potential candidate, Vice President Joe Biden.
"Well, I'm not concerned with that as I am with what Secretary Clinton is thinking about 2016," Feinstein said.
Feinstein isn't the only California senator to give the nod to a possible Clinton campaign. The secretary of state appeared for hours of congressional hearings last week on the U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya. Many thanked her for her service and remarked it would be her last time appearing before both chambers as the nation's top diplomat.
"You will be sorely missed, but I, for one, hope not for too long," Sen. Barbara Boxer, a Democrat, said during the hearing.

A majority of Americans share Senator Feinstein's sentiments about a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in 2016. Get the campaign going after a little R&R.

You know I do like Hillary, even though I don't agree with a lot of what she's stands for. But plainly said as a leader she's far better then most. I don't think much of politicians in general but Miss Clinton has got what it takes to run the show and do a good job of it too. But openly letting people know that a nut job like Feinstein is in her camp drives me crazy. she's just a female Rush limbaugh, just a one way street in my book. Man it makes me sick just thinking about those two. I can't vote for anyone either one of those freaks supports! word to the DNC you put Dianne Feinstein's name on anything and you've lost my vote and a lot of other peoples too!
